ODM Comrades Chapter
Students' Wing of the Orange Democratic Movement
Introduction
The ODM Comrades Chapter is the students' wing of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party, bringing together students from tertiary institutions who subscribe to the party's values, ideology, and vision for a just and democratic society. The Chapter serves as an organized platform for ODM-aligned students to actively participate in party affairs, articulate and champion students' issues within party policy processes, and contribute to national political discourse from a youthful perspective.
Our Objectives
Student Mobilization & Party Registration
To mobilize and register students from tertiary institutions as members of the ODM Party, with a target of at least 600,000 registered student members by 2027.
Ideological Education & Political Consciousness
To promote, popularize, and entrench ODM ideology, values, and policy positions among students and young people within learning institutions.
Leadership Development & Cadre Building
To nurture politically conscious, disciplined, and values-driven student leaders who will form the future leadership pipeline of the ODM Party.
Advocacy for Students' Issues
To identify, articulate, and champion issues affecting students and young people, and to ensure their integration into party policy and government action.
Vision
A united and empowered student movement that nurtures transformative leaders and champions social democracy, justice, and inclusive development in Kenya.
Mission
To mobilize, educate, and empower students across universities, colleges, and TVETs by promoting ODM's values of democracy, equity, and good governance.
